Lancaster, Pennsylvania – September 11, 2017 – Cargas Systems’ 9th annual Cargas Energy Summit brought 300 attendees to Lancaster this past week. Hosted at the Lancaster Convention Center on September 7 and 8, the summit serves as a way to connect Cargas Energy customers and partners with each other and their software provider. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in educational seminars, offer feedback about the Cargas Energy product, and get a sneak peek at Cargas Systems’ product roadmap for future capabilities and enhancements.

History was the central theme of this year’s Summit, and attendees were given a taste of historic downtown Lancaster with events at the Fulton Theatre, Excelsior, and The Pressroom. The theme also struck a chord with several Cargas Systems customers, who are celebrating 10 years with the Cargas Energy software:

“We are grateful to our local customers for giving Cargas Energy its start,” said Nate Scott, Cargas Systems’ President. “Customer success is one of our primary goals, and because of the support we received from our first and oldest customers locally, we’ve grown to be able to offer the same customer care and partnership to companies nationwide.”

In a unique way, history also played a role in the Summit’s keynote address, delivered by VP of Product Development, Aaron Cargas. The presentation paid homage to the history of innovation in both the energy and software industries and pointed toward future advancements for Cargas Energy.

“It is important to acknowledge the past because it’s what drives us toward the future,” said Cargas. “That is why this event is so important to us. Our primary mission is to offer the most cutting-edge technology to serve our customers’ needs, and we rely on them to tell us what has worked before and what hasn’t so we can continue to innovate. By bringing Cargas customers, partners, and employees together, we can evaluate our past experiences and open the door to new, creative ideas for the future.”

With attendance up by 20% this year, customers are more engaged than ever.

“Our relationship with our customers is a partnership,” explained Scott. “Cargas only succeeds when our customers succeed. This year’s event confirms that our customers value this partnership and the chance to have a say in their future.”
