• Implementing Cargas Energy can take as little as a month and as long as several months depending on a few factors. The Cargas Team will ask you some questions to help you determine a feasible go live timeframe.
    • For example: Are you implementing just delivery, or are you implementing the service module too? Do you have other lines of business like wholesale, or cardlock that you want to implement? How many locations do you have, and do you want to bring them all onto the system at once? How many total users do you have? How many different systems are you currently running that we need to convert data from?
    • Based on the answers to those questions, and your preference for the time of year you’d like to go live, we will work with you to come up with the most effective implementation schedule.
    • It sounds complicated, and implementing new software isn’t as easy as buying a new car, but we can help you through it. At Cargas we’ve implemented hundreds of systems over the years, both in our Business Solutions division that implements accounting and distribution systems nationwide, and in our Energy division where we do dozens of implementations of Cargas Energy every year. We will share the best practices we’ve learned over the years to help you have the best possible implementation experience.
    • We realize implementing new software is a stressful time, but there are also stresses and costs to staying on your old outdated software. It’s a judgement call on your part, but often times the temporary stresses of a new implementation are well worth when you consider you will be running the software for many decades into the future.
