As part of the Cargas Care Plan, Cargas Energy users receive multiple new features each year. These updates bring the latest tech innovations directly to fuel delivery companies, helping them go beyond delivery to keep customers happy. This article breaks down the top five non-delivery features released in 2024. 

Service Dispatch Map View

Organize schedules, reassign tasks, and monitor work order statuses in a map interface.

Cargas Energy’s Delivery Dispatch Board gives users a map view of outstanding tickets to make route building a breeze. That visual route builder has now been brought over to the Service Dispatch screen, allowing dispatchers to see technician locations in real-time, map out jobs based on proximity, and filter work orders by criteria like service code and zip code.

Work Order Management for Multi-Task Work Orders

Manage multiple tasks at once for major work orders.

In Cargas Energy, work orders can have multiple associated tasks, and most activities are done at the task level. This created some tedium for users who handled work orders with various sub-tasks. That’s why Cargas Energy allows users to simultaneously dispatch, complete, and bill all tasks within a work order. This also works for service technicians, who can update all tasks with a single click.

HubSpot Integration

Bring marketing in-house with a custom integration.

Cargas offers more than just fuel delivery software––we’ve partnered with top business solutions companies to customize, implement, and support popular solutions for sales, marketing, accounting, and more. We’ve made the most of our partnership with HubSpot by developing a custom integration between their marketing automation software and Cargas Energy. This integration allows users to automatically bring account data from Cargas Energy into HubSpot to build targeted campaigns and personalized experiences.

Cargas Pay Improvements: Dashboards & Surcharges 

Customize and analyze customer payments. 

Cargas Pay, the payment processing solution embedded within Cargas Energy, saw several updates in the past year. One such update introduced a payment dashboard that displays Cargas Pay information over a rolling 30-day period, giving at-a-glance insights into business financials. The other major update introduced a surcharge option for credit card transactions. Surcharges are customizable, with settings based on customer preferences and regional law to keep everything compliant. 

POS Card Swiping 

Accept customer payments with credit card swiping. 

Many new Cargas Energy features stem from user feedback, and the upcoming credit card swiping update is our response to a request we hear often. We’re excited to launch POS swiping, which will be exclusive to Cargas Pay customers and will work with our newly released surcharge feature. With POS swiping, payments will be automatically created in Cargas Energy and posted to the corresponding account, eliminating the manual entry of the olden days.
